	These recordings were originally issued to accompany the Irmologion edited by S. Papp and N. Petrasevych (1970). This is a revision of the Tserkovnoie Prostopinie of I. Bokshai and I. Malinych (1906), and although the new work contains some corrections and some unexplained alterations in the text, these recordings can be used to illustrate either of the above editions or any others based on Bokshai and Malinych. Although the Irmologion was published for use in the Greek Catholic Diocese of Preshov, it follows the style of the Bokshai and Malinych edi- tion prepared for the Greek Catholic Diocese of Mukachevo.
