The arrangement of the pages changes depending on whether the booklet is to be viewed or printed as a booklet.
Get the Booklet in pdf for viewing. This is provided to show what the booklet will look like and contain if printed.
Get the Booklet in pdf for printing. Here the pages are rearranged to print in the correct order to form a booklet of two folded sheets of paper. The text fills two 8.5"x14" sheets. The Acrobat Reader will resize and print for 8.5"x11" also, but there will be more blank space on the page because of the different aspect ratio; the print is also proportionately smaller though still very legible (at least for 600 dpi laser jet resolution).
Follow these instructions to print the booklet.
Open the Booklet in pdf for printing in the Acrobat Reader.
Choose the desired paper size.
Print the first half of the booklet, in this case two pages. (Here a page means a printed page, i.e. a sheet of paper.)
Take the two sheets that have printed on one side and feed them back in so the blank side prints. They should be fed in in the same order in which they were just printed (i.e the sheet that has the front and back cover is fed in first). The long side of the paper should be oriented the same way when fed through the second time as the first (i.e. do not flip the paper so that the top and bottom of the printed page get flipped).
