Religious Education
Patronage Byzantine Catholic Church offers education classes from the Eastern tradition of the Catholic Faith

Eastern Catholic Formation (ECF)
Teen Class (Ages 12–18) – Led by Loui Villanueva
Our teens explore the structure of liturgical services, the theology behind Eastern Christian practices, and how to live out the faith in today’s world. Loui fosters thoughtful discussion and reflection, helping our teens grow into mature, faithful Catholics with a solid grounding in Eastern spirituality.
Grade School Class (Ages 6–11) – Led by Kevin Ross
This class combines hands-on cultural activities with religious instruction. Students learn about Scripture, the sacraments, the saints, and our liturgical calendar, all through the lens of the Eastern Catholic Church. Past classes have included icon making, baking prosphora (bread for the Eucharist), and many other fun, interactive activities to learn the faith.
Toddler Class (Ages 3–5) – Led by Sharon Kotula
Our youngest learners enjoy a fun, creative introduction to the basics of the faith. Through Bible stories, simple prayers, religious songs, and arts and crafts, Sharon's class offers toddlers a chance to feel included in parish life from the very start.
